Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced IT Desktop Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing timely support and resolution for various desktop-related issues across the organization, including hardware, software, peripherals, and network troubleshooting. You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure seamless IT operations, providing excellent service to employees and supporting the organization's IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site support for desktop-related issues, ensuring efficient resolution of software, hardware, peripherals, and network problems.
- Demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting and supporting Windows OS and Microsoft product architecture.
- Perform routine maintenance, installation, and configuration of network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Manage and support network infrastructure with a focus on performance, security, and reliability.
- Assist with partial IT management tasks including asset management, user demand management, and operational knowledge management.
- Work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting, ensuring timely and effective problem resolution.
- Respond to urgent IT requests during weekends or off-hours as needed (overtime compensation provided).
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in IT desktop support or related field.
- Proficient in supporting mainstream operating systems (Windows) and common office software (Microsoft Office Suite, etc.).
- Solid understanding of hardware, peripherals, and basic troubleshooting techniques.
- Foundational knowledge of networking, servers, and IT infrastructure.
- Familiarity with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) processes is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, with a customer-oriented and service-driven mindset.
- Willingness to work on-site during weekends for urgent IT requests (overtime compensation available).
- Proficiency in either Chinese or English as an additional working language is preferred.
