Apparel Production Manager

We are an Australian/Hong Kong-owned sportswear brand specialising in rowing, swimming, and athletics apparel. We design bold, custom teamwear and ship worldwide, from a Chineses manufacturing base.

To strengthen our supply chain, we are looking to establishing a small Cebu-based production studio for samples, small runs, and product development.

We already have an established Cebu team focused on administration and marketing. You will work alongside them and lead the local production side of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee small-scale garment production (samples, 1–20 pc orders, custom kits).
  • Manage sewing, finishing, and quality control to international standards.
  • Work closely with our Cebu admin/marketing staff, Australian HQ, and China partners to align specs and fabric supply.
  • Ensure accurate use of patterns, trims, and specs.
  • Conduct fit testing and sample approval with our Cebu team.
  • Coordinate workflow, timelines, and reporting for orders.
  • Build relationships with local sewing studios, suppliers, and freelancers to expand capacity as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Production Manager, Supervisor, or Senior Sewer in apparel (sportswear/uniform experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of sewing techniques and machines (flatlock, coverstitch, bartack, sublimation, heat press).
  • Ability to interpret and work from patterns and spec sheets.
  • Demonstrated experience in quality control.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Strong network with local workshops or sewers is a major advantage.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, international environment.
