The Role: Investor Relations Officer
The successful candidate will be responsible, along with others, for the operation and support of an investor-relations team for a growing portfolio of Asia-based hedge fund and private equity clients. This role is based in our Philippines office, located in Pasay City.
Kew Responsibilities, Accountabilities, and Duties:
- Responsibility, along with others, for the smooth operation of the investor-relations function for hedge fund and private equity clients
- Ensuring procedures and controls are followed to enable accurate investor capital activity transaction processing
- Ensuring procedures and controls are followed to enable accurate investor and fund manager capital activity reporting
- Inputting investor trades and creating investor reports
- Ensuring operational best practice in accordance with ISAE 3402 and SOC 1
- Creating investor accounts in the transfer agency and registry systems
- Reviewing investor due diligence, AML and KYC documentation as part of both the investor on-boarding process and periodic reviews
- Reviewing AEOI, CRS and FATCA documentation
- Communicating closely with management on assigned tasks, deliverables and controls
- Ensuring accurate recording and processing of redemption requests and creation of payments
- Undertaking specific projects as may be assigned from time to time
- Any other tasks assigned by the directors or management
Skills and Experience:
- Relevant professional qualification or ability and commitment to work towards an approved relevant professional qualification; alternatively, an employee may be qualified by experience
- At least eighteen (18) months' working experience in a similar position with a Fund Administrator, Trust Company or Corporate Service provider
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity
- Ability to communicate well and effectively, verbally and in writing, to a diverse audience
- Build and maintain close and effective working relationships with colleagues
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with tact and confidence in dealing with people at all levels, both internally and externally
- Eye for detail and accuracy in daily task
- Driven and motivated
