We are seeking skilled and passionate Line Cooks to become integral members of our dynamic kitchen brigade. This is a hands-on role for a dedicated professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-standard environment and is committed to the precise execution of our culinary vision.
Key Responsibilities
The Line Cook will be responsible for the consistent preparation and execution of dishes from a specific station. Key responsibilities include:
- Execute all menu items from an assigned station (e.g., grill, sauté, garde manger, pastry) with strict adherence to recipes, portioning, cooking methods, and presentation standards.
- Maintain impeccable station organization, including daily mise en place, stock rotation (FIFO), and cleanliness before, during, and after service.
- Uphold the highest standards of food quality, freshness, and consistency for every plate that leaves the kitchen.
- Follow all established kitchen protocols, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and health & safety regulations, including HACCP and sanitation guidelines.
- Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with all kitchen team members and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth, timely service.
- Assist with daily prep work, inventory counts, and receiving/storage of deliveries as directed by the Sous Chef or Head Chef.
- Maintain and care for all kitchen equipment, reporting any issues immediately.
- Contribute to a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience as a line cook in a high-volume, à la carte, or full-service restaurant environment.
- Solid foundational cooking techniques and a strong understanding of kitchen operations.
- Ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure during peak service hours.
- High attention to detail, organization, and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Strong teamwork ethic and clear communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A culinary school diploma or certificate is an asset, but proven experience is highly valued.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php12, Php20,000.00 per month
