Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee preparation of financial statements, reports, and construction-specific accounting documentation
  • Monitor job costing, WIP schedules, and variance analysis
  • Lead annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes
  • Manage cash flow, accounts payable, and receivable
  • Handle billing, cost allocation, and construction-specific compliance
  • Ensure tax compliance, internal controls, and audit readiness
  • Supervise and develop the accounting team
  • Improve systems and financial reporting processes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role
  • Solid experience in construction accounting (job costing, billing, contracts)
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel and accounting software
