Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data.
Responsibilities:
- Perform bookkeeping duties, including preparation of journal entries and monthly financial reports.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Provide sound cost and financial analysis to management.
- Maintain knowledge of VAT/taxation and other government reporting requirements.
- Perform general administrative functions as needed.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Demonstrate a good working attitude, honesty, and responsibility; demonstrate initiative and ability to work with limited supervision.
- Able to start immediately.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting with at least 1 year of bookkeeping and financial reporting experience.
- Experience preparing correct journal entries, bank reconciliations, and monthly financial reports.
- Ability to analyze costs and financial data for management decision-making.
- Full knowledge of VAT/taxation and other government reporting requirements.
- Able to perform administrative functions.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong work ethic, honesty, and responsibility; initiative; ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Available to start immediately.
