About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Sr. Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time role based in Ortigas Pasig City Metro Manila. You will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial accounting and reporting functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial information to support strategic decision-making.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of the company's financial records and accounting processes
  • Oversee the preparation and filing of all required tax returns and regulatory reports
  • Analyse financial data and provide insights to support the company's strategic planning and decision-making
  • Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures and internal controls to enhance the efficiency and reliability of the finance function
  • Lead, mentor and develop the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address financial and operational challenges
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, regulations and best practices, and ensure the company's compliance

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • At least 8 years of progressive experience in financial accounting and reporting.
  • Proven expertise in managing the month-end close process, preparing financial statements and analysing financial data
  • Excellent knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS). Knowledge on Philippine Tax Regulations is preferred but not required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and data analysis tools
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
