Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Assortment & Strategy Development:

  2. Collaborate with the Merchandising Manager and other departments to develop and execute product assortment strategies that align with business goals and seasonal trends.

  3. Curate product selection for online channels, ensuring a balanced mix of bestsellers, new arrivals, and high-margin items.

  4. Optimize product placements on the website to ensure visibility and alignment with key promotional periods.

  5. Sales Data Analysis & Reporting:

  6. Analyze ecommerce sales performance, customer behavior, and website analytics to drive informed decisions about product placement and assortment.

  7. Prepare regular performance reports on product categories, sales trends, and inventory levels.

  8. Identify underperforming products and collaborate with other teams to develop strategies for improving sales.

  9. Inventory Management & Stock Control:

  10. Coordinate with the inventory and supply chain teams to ensure accurate stock levels are reflected on the website.

  11. Monitor product availability, track stock-outs, and work to prevent overselling or understocking issues.

  12. Regularly update out-of-stock or low-stock product listings and communicate with relevant teams to address stock issues.

  13. Customer Insights & Market Trends:

  14. Stay updated on ecommerce trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to make data-driven recommendations for product assortment and marketing strategies.

  15. Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement in product offerings and the overall shopping experience.

  16. Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

  17. Collaborate with the marketing, creative, and customer service teams to ensure alignment on product launches, promotions, and content.

  18. Work with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery and fulfillment of products to avoid customer dissatisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Ecommerce, Retail, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in ecommerce merchandising or retail merchandising, preferably in an online environment.
  • Strong Knowledge in data analysis tools, such as Google Sheets, Excel, or similar.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and product presentation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Can start ASAP.
