Job Description:

Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of in-store merchandising strategies. This role will be responsible for optimizing product visibility, enhancing customer experience, and driving sales through effective merchandising initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement merchandising strategies aligned with brand objectives and sales targets.
  • Coordinate with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure product availability and promotional execution.
  • Manage planograms, shelf space allocation, and point-of-sale (POS) material deployment.
  • Monitor and analyze in-store execution, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Conduct regular store visits to ensure adherence to merchandising standards.
  • Manage and train a team of merchandisers, ensuring high performance and compliance.
  • Collaborate with retail partners to maximize visibility and shelf presence of products.
  • Report on merchandising effectiveness and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all channels and stores.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • Solid experience in merchandising or trade marketing within the FMCG industry.

  • Strong understanding of retail operations, consumer behavior, and category management.

  • Proven success in managing merchandising teams and executing in-store campaigns.

  • Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and merchandising software/tools.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
