About the role

We are seeking a talented Internal Audit Staff to join our team at Gaisano Bros. Merchandising, Inc. in Cebu City, Cebu. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's financial and operational integrity. As an Internal Audit Staff, you will be responsible for conducting thorough audits, identifying opportunities for improvement, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

What you'll be doing

Conduct comprehensive internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of financial controls, processes, and procedures, identifying risks and recommending improvements to strengthen the internal control framework. Assisted in preparing detailed audit reports with actionable insights, collaborated with cross-functional teams to implement and monitor corrective actions, and maintained accurate audit documentation in compliance with relevant standards. Provided support to team members, contributing to the continuous enhancement of the audit function.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Management Accounting or a related field
  • With or without experience
  • Strong understanding of internal control frameworks, risk assessment, and audit methodologies
  • Proficient in data analysis, report writing, and presenting findings to management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous learning and improvement
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, audit software, and ERP systems (SAP experience preferred)
