About the role
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team at CARATS MANUFACTURING INC'. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial accounting and reporting activities for our manufacturing operations based in San Fernando, Pampanga. This is a critical position that will have a direct impact on the financial health and strategic decision-making of the organisation.
What you'll be doing
- Manage the full accounting cycle, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory and payroll
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements, variance analyses and other reporting for management and external stakeholders
- Ensure accurate and timely financial record-keeping and compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Oversee the work of the accounting team, providing guidance, training and performance management
- Contribute to the development and implementation of improved accounting policies, procedures and internal controls
- Support business planning and decision-making through the provision of insightful financial analysis and recommendations
- Liaise with external auditors and other professional service providers as needed
What we're looking for
- Qualified accountant with 8+ years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a manufacturing or similar industry setting
- Strong technical accounting skills with a thorough understanding of financial reporting standards and best practices
- Proven experience in leading and managing an accounting team, with excellent people management and mentoring skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to provide strategic financial insights
- Proficient in the use of accounting software and business intelligence tools
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Proactive, results-oriented and committed to continuous improvement
