Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with expertise in budget planning, financial forecasting, and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and enforce internal controls to ensure accuracy and security of financial records.
  • Ensure full compliance with tax laws (BIR), government regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Coordinate with external and internal auditors for financial audits and compliance checks.
  • Manage and supervise the entire Finance & Accounting Department, including Accounts Receivable, Collections, Encoders, and Accountants.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide guidance, training, and development for the team.
  • Oversee the hiring process and handle team-related concerns, including performance improvements and resignations.
  • Review and approve financial statements, budget reports, and expense analyses.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Supervisor in preparing financial reports and addressing departmental issues.
  • Prepare and submit the Finance Department's report to the Management Committee (ManCom), including financial performance, challenges, and action plans.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of all BIR reports and tax filings.
  • Ensure the company's compliance with corporate tax laws, VAT, withholding taxes, and government-mandated financial requirements.
  • Address tax audits, penalties, or compliance issues with relevant government agencies.
  • Develop and monitor the company's budget plan, ensuring financial sustainability.
  • Ensure proper tracking and approval of operational expenses and capital expenditures.
  • Conduct financial forecasting to anticipate and address potential financial challenges.
  • Oversee purchase orders synchronized by the Sales Team that fall within standard guidelines. Complex or high-value transactions should be escalated to the CFO or President for final approval.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field (CPA is an advantage).
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 2+ years in a managerial role.
  • Extensive knowledge of BIR regulations, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
  • Experience in budget planning, financial forecasting, and internal controls.
  • Strong ability to assess financial health and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Proven experience in supervising finance and accounting teams with the ability to mentor and guide a diverse accounting team.
  • Expertise in tax laws, BIR reporting, and government compliance.
  • Ability to develop and implement financial controls.
  • Precision in financial transactions and reporting.
  • Ability to present financial insights clearly to executives.
  • Proficient in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions
  • Mondays to Saturdays.
  • 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
  • Willing to extend working hours when required.
