Job Summary:

The Accounting Intern / OJT will provide support to the accounting department by assisting with daily accounting tasks and gaining exposure to practical accounting procedures. This internship is designed to offer students hands-on experience that complements their academic knowledge, preparing them for a future career in the accounting field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in filing and organizing financial documents such as invoices, receipts, and vouchers.
  • Encode data into accounting systems and spreadsheets under supervision.
  • Support in preparing basic reports such as expense summaries or billing schedules.
  • Assist in bank reconciliations and petty cash monitoring.
  • Help verify supporting documents for disbursements and reimbursements.
  • Assist in inventory checks, audit support, or monthly closing activities as needed.
  • Perform other clerical and accounting-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with MS Office (Excel, Word); exposure to accounting software is a plus.
  • Willing to learn and open to feedback.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and trustworthy.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality with financial information.
  • Willing to report on-site at Mandaluyong City.
  • Available for a minimum of 300 OJT hours.
