Job description:

Recruitment and Staffing

· Develops and executes staffing strategies aligned with the company's objectives.

· Oversees the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires.

· Works closely with department heads to understand current and future staffing needs.

Employee Relations

· Serves as the primary contact for employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances.

· Facilitates dispute resolution, conducts investigations, and recommends corrective actions as necessary.

· Promotes a positive and inclusive workplace culture through regular communication, feedback, and engagement initiatives.

· Develops and implements programs to improve employee morale and reduce turnover.

Performance Management

· Partners with managers to set performance goals, develop career paths, and identify training needs.

· Coordinates performance reviews and ensures documentation is complete and compliant with legal standards.

· Facilitates coaching sessions and performance improvement plans when necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

· Administers competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain talent.

· Oversees payroll processes

· Communicates benefits information to employees and assists with enrollment or claims issues.

Policy Development and Compliance

· Develops, updates, and enforces HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

· Keeps abreast of changes in labor laws, health and safety regulations, and human rights legislation.

· Ensures organizational compliance with government regulations and reporting requirements.

· Provides training on policy updates to management and staff as needed.

Training and Development

· Assesses organizational training needs and develops comprehensive training programs and workshops.

· Coordinates onboarding for new hires to ensure smooth integration into the company culture.

Organizational Development and Change Management

· Works with management to plan and implement organizational change initiatives.

· Leads efforts to enhance company culture, mission, and values.

· Supports teams and individuals during periods of transition or restructuring.

· Conducts organizational assessments to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.

Employee Records and HR Systems Management

· Maintain accurate personnel records and safeguard confidential information.

· Generates reports on HR metrics for leadership and uses the data to inform HR strategies

Administrative and Field Responsibilities

· Provides general administrative support as needed to ensure smooth operations across departments.

· May be assigned to assist in or monitor event setups, especially during manpower shortages or critical events.

· Expected to visit event locations to observe, monitor, and evaluate staff performance and compliance with company standards.

Coordinates with the Operations and Production teams during on-site evaluations and contributes insights for workforce development and event execution improvement.

Qualifications:

· A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

· 3-5 years of experience as an HR supervisor or in a related role is often expected

· effectively communicate with employees at all levels, as well as with external vendors

· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and an ethical mindset

· Willingness to travel for work-related activities, including site visits and off-site event monitoring.

· Ability to work during weekends or outside regular business hours, as required by company operations or events.

· Proficiency in HR tools and platforms; experience with is a strong advantage.
