AVP or Director of Facilities is primarily responsible for delivery of 100% uptime support to business operations and other enabling functions to ensure efficient delivery to end client processes by maintaining a healthy and safe environment for employees, clients and visitors. This function includes day to day management of Facility Operations such as housekeeping, F&B service, front office management, cost optimization, team development, vendor development, IFM services, physical security (guards, electronic access, CCTV), engineering services (building & equipment maintenance to achieve 100% uptime), travel (hotel tie-ups, domestic & international travel support including visa facilitation & logistics support), and point-to-point pick-up & drop facility. Additionally, responsible for EHS, information security, business continuity, disaster recovery & compliance to other certifications as per business need. Ensure adherence to laid down procedures and meet internal & external compliance for the functional area in line with EXL\`s corporate governance objectives.

Responsibilities

• Manage & maintain a top-class BPO infrastructure with 100% uptime (including E&M through OEMs and AMCs).
• Proactively drive results and anticipate issues to mitigate rather than react; conduct regular internal checks, facility walks, and verifications.
• Develop a strong vendor base, maximize value, and build backups for core deliverables to achieve 100% uptime.
• Initiate regular team meetings, share information, seek inputs, and resolve issues within the department.
• Optimize resources to achieve cost savings on a budget vs actuals of approximately 5-7%.
• Create a responsive, customer-centric department environment to meet internal deadlines with quick TAT on pending issues.
• Monitor capacity planning and supervise client visits and travel requirements.
• Ensure a safe and secure work environment and adherence to EXL (OHSAS) standards.
• Maintain high organization skills for managing multiple projects; pursue continuous improvement initiatives; ensure compliance with external/regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate / Postgraduate (MBA) with industry knowledge in service industry; working knowledge of electro-mechanical, projects, logistics & travel; 10-15 years of experience.

Performance Parameters

• Customer experience: measure via internal surveys and regular interactions with employees, clients, vendors; implement corrective actions for better service levels.
• Process implementation: ensure 100% uptime across facilities; subject to audits.
• Cost efficiency: monitor delivery within budgets; target annual savings of 5-7%.
• Vendor management: manage vendors to ensure 100% uptime; build back-ups and BCP strategies.
• Team handling: set goals, drive training, recognition, retention, succession planning; maintain transparent appraisal processes.
