The Application Specialist (Entry-Level: Associate Level) plays a crucial role within the Customer Service Support team. They are responsible for performing Instrument Quality Assurance, delivering comprehensive End User Training, collaborating with service engineers to conduct Preventive Maintenance procedures, and addressing application-related concerns.

ResponsibilitiesApplication Specialists are expected to...Perform in-house Quality Assurance procedure of brand new/ returned/ refurbished and repaired instruments. This includes parameter programming and performing quality control procedures to ensure accuracy, conducting precision and stress tests to ensure machines' optimum reliable state before dispatch;Conduct on-site intensive and comprehensive product demonstration on its measuring principle, parts, features, applications, basic operation, daily maintenance procedure, and end-user level basic troubleshooting to clients. Application Specialists prepare end-user training materials such as Operation Quick Guides to help users maximize and familiarize machine functionality;Shall handle and resolve application-related concern troubleshooting procedures whether through phone assistance or going on-site to ensure continuous machine functionality and minimize machine downtime.

Client concerns should be addressed immediately and accordingly by informing the Application Specialist Manager if concerns are beyond the Application Specialists scope of responsibility and are not during the "on-call" schedule;Accompany and work with the service engineers in conducting scheduled Preventive Maintenance Procedures of instruments enrolled under the Instrument Maintenance Program. The role of an application specialist is to perform calibration and quality control procedures after machine technicalities are checked, consumables are replaced and program parameters are updated;Assist and work with the Product Managers during IN-HOUSE and ON-SITE machine and method validation as well as product evaluation;Provide high-quality customer service with the objective of not just maintaining company profit but improving sales by increasing client patronage of the company;Submit Instrument Service Worksheets and Expense Summary Reports every first week of the month. Comply with all the requirements assigned to this position as approved in the quality management system of the entire organization;Abide by company rules and regulations stated in the company handbook;Perform other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications & SkillsMust be registered medical technologist in the Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC)Candidates who have Masters Degree in Business Administration or Marketing is preferred

At least 1-2 years of work experience in a diagnostic company or related field

Competent in product handling and management, strategic selling, business planning, and operations

Individuals who are innovative, able to collaborate and work well with others, and have good customer skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CanvaStrong communication skills (English and Filipino)Individuals who are willing and available to travel for overseas product trainings
