Assistant Product Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management

• Maintain and update vendor pricelists, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution to

sales teams.

• Coordinate stock rotations, returns, and inventory alignment with supply chain and

vendor teams.

• Manage product onboarding and lifecycle updates in internal systems including SKU

creation, product categorization, and metadata entry.

• Track and report on sales performance, stock levels, and promotional activities using

dashboards and analytics tools.

• Support deal registration, quoting, and special pricing processes, ensuring

compliance with vendor guidelines.

• Liaise with internal teams (sales, logistics, finance) to resolve operational issues and

streamline workflows.

• Monitor product availability and lead times, proactively communicating delays or

changes to stakeholders.

• Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly operational reports for internal review and

vendor submission.

• Maintain documentation for operational procedures and ensure alignment with

compliance standards.

Vendor & Channel Support

• Act as the day-to-day contact for vendor operational queries, ensuring timely and

accurate responses

• Assist in preparing vendor reports, dashboards, and performance summaries for

strategic review.

• Support execution of channel marketing initiatives, webinars, and campaigns

including logistics and content coordination.

• Help coordinate training sessions and enablement activities for resellers, including

scheduling, materials preparation, and feedback collection.

• Maintain vendor portals and ensure accurate data entry for product listings,

promotions, and certifications.

• Facilitate communication between vendors and internal teams to ensure alignment

on goals and deliverables.

• Track and manage vendor incentive programs, rebates, and co-marketing funds.

• Support onboarding of new channel partners and assist in partner profiling and

segmentation.

Collaboration & Strategy Support

• Work closely with the strategic PM to align operational execution with brand growth

strategies

• Provide insights and feedback from channel partners to inform strategic decisions

and product positioning.

• Assist in preparing business reviews, presentations, and strategic planning

documents.

• Contribute to competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities for

brand expansion.

• Support development of go-to-market strategies and execution plans for new product

launches.

• Collaborate with sales teams to identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within the

channel.

• Participate in strategic meetings with vendors and decision-makers to represent

operational perspectives.

• Help track progress against strategic KPIs and provide regular updates to leadership.

Skills & Experience

• 2+ years in product management, channel operations, or vendor coordination within

the IT industry.

• Strong understanding of distribution models and the New Zealand IT Channel.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Proficiency in Excel, CRM systems, and data analysis tools.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally.

• Experience with vendor portals, ERP systems, and marketing platforms is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php25, Php35,000.00 per month
