Job Summary:

The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the company's logistics operations, including inventory management, delivery, and transportation. The role ensures that materials, equipment, and products are stored and delivered efficiently, accurately, and on schedule while maintaining cost-effectiveness and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily logistics, and distribution operations.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries to ensure timely arrival and dispatch.
  • Communicate with drivers, and project sites to ensure smooth logistics flow.
  • Plan and schedule deliveries based on project requirements and timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
  • Supervise and train logistics staff, drivers, and helpers.
  • Prepare reports related to logistics performance, and delivery efficiency.
  • Collaborate with procurement and project teams to align logistics support with operational needs.
  • Handle issues such as delayed shipments, damaged goods, or discrepancies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred but not required).
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of logistics software, inventory systems, and basic MS Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Familiarity with construction materials or project site logistics is an advantage.
