Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs credit risk identification as well as designs and implements risk management processes, risk management measurement, and monitoring stress/scenario testing.
  • Recommends appropriate risk mitigation strategies or improvements in the credit process.
  • Supports lending units by providing inputs to policies and advising on risk issues in the product program manual development.
  • Reviews all credit related transactions as may be assigned.
  • Initiates formulation and review of policies and procedures brought by new/updates on BSP regulations, newly developed/updated products, new/updated processes, etc.
  • Performs industry analysis and subsequent portfolio review to ensure a healthy profile of borrowers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in any business-related course
  • At least 3 years experience in credit evaluation or credit risk management in commercial lending operations
  • Preferably from the banking industry
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Good quality assurance and risk management skills
