Junior Programmer

Job duties and responsibilities:

I. Software Development & Support

· Design, Code, test and implement software applications aligned with business requirements. Develop and enhance system modules that integrate with SAP ERP.

· Maintain and troubleshoot existing system to ensure stability and performance.

· Identify and resolve system errors or integration issues between in-house application and ERP.

· Provide technical support for application incidents and assist in root-cause analysis.

· Document updates, configurations, and process improvements.

II. Database Development & Optimization & Querying

· Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers for reporting and data management.

· Maintain data integrity and ensure efficient access to business – critical information.

· Conduct database performance tuning, backup validation, and maintenance tasks.

· Develop reports and data extractions for management and operational use.

· Coordinate with SAP functional team to support ERP- related programming tasks.

· Provide user assistance in troubleshooting SAP- related issues at the programming or data level.

· Develop and execute SQL queries to retrieve and analyze business data.

· Support database backup, data validation, and report generation.

· Maintain and update system databases under supervisor

III. Document & Collaboration

· Document program logic, data flow, and technical changes.

· Work closely with IT team members, end – users, and other documents to meet project goals.

· Participate in testing and development activities

Qualifications:

· Fresh Graduate or 1-2 year experience in programming, preferably in a corporate IT environment.

· Exposure to ERP system (SAP) or database development is an advantage.

· Basic knowledge of java, C# or ABAP programming languages.

· Familiarity with SAP ERP structure, modules or integration.

· Strong understanding of SQL and relational database concepts (MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL).

· Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus

· Proficient in using IDEs (Eclipse, Visual Studio, IntelliJ) and version control tools (Git).

· Analytical and detail- oriented

· Good communication and teamwork skills

· Can work with minimal supervision once trained.
