  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) or equivalent certification preferred.
  • PLC, SCADA, or automation-control certifications (e.g., Rockwell Automation, Siemens TIA Portal, ISA certifications) are an asset.
  • Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or similar continuous improvement certifications beneficial.
  • 5+ years of experience in calibration, instrumentation, automation systems, or related engineering roles.
  • 2+ years of supervisory or team-lead experience managing technicians or engineering staff.
  • Demonstrated experience with calibration of sensors, gauges, transmitters, control valves, analyzers, and measurement instruments.
  • Hands-on experience with PLC programming, industrial networking, and automation troubleshooting.
  • Experience with regulated or standards-driven environments (ISO 17025, ISO 9001, FDA/ GMP, aerospace, automotive, etc.) preferred.
  • Background in developing or maintaining preventive maintenance and calibration management systems (e.g., CMMS software).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive calibration programmes for all critical equipment and instruments.
  • Automating manual processes and streamlining workflows to increase productivity and reduce human error.
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting to ensure the optimal performance of our automation systems.
  • Conducting regular maintenance and inspections to identify and address any issues proactively.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
  • Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all calibration and automation activities.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Mentoring and training junior team members to develop their skills and expertise.
