Job Overview

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health of Sbarro, ensuring profitability, cost control, and compliance. This role manages budgeting, financial reporting, cash flow, and strategic financial planning to support business growth and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Monitor expenses and analyze budget vs. actual variances.
  • Implement and drive cost-control initiatives across operations.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and coordinate annual audits.
  • Manage daily cash flow, liquidity, payables, and receivables.
  • Conduct ROI and break-even analyses for projects and new stores.
  • Support financial modeling for business and franchise decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • CPA or MBA highly preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
  • Strong analytical and budgeting skills.
  • Experience in cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and spreadsheet tools.
