Overview

The Procurement Agent is responsible for placing orders with vendors, performing the virtual product receiving process, maintaining logistical information, communicating order status with sales and service teams, and maintaining inventory records. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Job Highlights

Role Name: Procurement Agent

Monthly Rate: PHP 50,000-52,000

Number of Paid Hours Per Week: Full-time (40 hours per week)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an "Independent Contractor," the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.

Responsibilities

  • Generate purchase orders and place orders with vendors
  • Perform receiving process on virtual and drop-ship products from distributors and vendors
  • Maintain logistical data such as ETA and tracking information; communicate order status with internal team
  • Create outgoing shipping labels and ensure shipments are handed off to carriers
  • Document new hardware, software, and warranties in ConnectWise
  • Maintain product inventory in ConnectWise
  • Create RMAs for defective products or returns
  • Build quotes for sales team and renewal quotes for client hardware/software renewals
  • Assist procurement team with additional duties as needed
  • Understand the sales order process that initiates purchasing and flows through to receiving
  • Document internal processes and procedures related to procurement duties

Requirements

  • Experience with ConnectWise CPQ and Manage software
  • Knowledge of technology products and terminology
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with ability to work in a fast-moving environment
  • Proficiency with general office applications
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to change
  • Must pass live scan fingerprinting and criminal background check

Physical Demands / Working Conditions

  • Frequent repetitive keyboarding motions required
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods in front of a computer
