Accounting Officer in Tomas Morato Quezon City upto 30k

Medical Supplies Industry

Working Schedule : Mon to Friday, 8:30am to 6:30pm

An accounting officer manages an organization's financial records by handling transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Key duties include processing invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, monitoring expenses, and generating financial reports. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of accounting principles and software.

Key responsibilities

-Maintain and review accurate financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and expense reports.

-Handle accounts payable and receivable, which includes creating and processing invoices, verifying expenses, and applying payments.

-Monitor expenditures and profits, and prepare financial statements and reports for management.

-Ensure compliance with accounting and tax laws. Reconcile various accounts, such as with customers, vendors, and banks.

-Assist in preparing budgets and analyze financial activities to provide recommendations for improving financial efficiency.

Skills:

Proficiency with accounting software, spreadsheets, and strong knowledge of accounting principles.

Excellent attention to detail, time management, and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues.

Additional duties

-Participate in physical inventory counts.

-Perform bank reconciliations and other specific account tasks as assigned.

-Contact clients about past-due payments.

-Assist with tax filings and related schedules, such as those for the BIR.

-Help evaluate and improve internal management systems and procedures
