Job Summary:

A Hospital Cleaner is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in all hospital areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This role plays a crucial part in infection prevention and control within the healthcare facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of hospital areas including patient rooms, operating rooms, wards, corridors, offices, toilets, and public areas.
  • Follow strict infection control procedures and use appropriate cleaning agents/disinfectants.
  • Handle biohazardous waste (e.g., sharps, used linens, contaminated materials) safely and dispose of them following hospital protocols.
  • Replenish supplies such as hand soaps, sanitizers, and tissue paper.
  • Report maintenance issues (e.g., leaks, damaged fixtures) to the appropriate department.
  • Ensure proper use and care of cleaning equipment and tools (mops, steamers, vacuums, floor polishers).
  • Support deep cleaning, terminal cleaning, and emergency cleaning as required.
  • Follow hospital policies, health and safety regulations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect patient privacy at all times.

Qualifications:

  • At least High School to Senior High School Graduate
  • Preferably with NC II in Housekeeping
  • With of Without experience
  • With work experience is advance
  • With good communication skills
  • Willing to be train
