Purpose of the Job:

  • Lead operations department (quality, production, process, project management) to drive NPI and mass production activities successfully ensuring adequate quality, delivery on time at the cost quoted.
  • Responsible for the management of the manufacturing unit and exercise overall control and supervision

Main responsibilities:

  • Responsible in the overall business and profitability of products and services of Power Discrete and Modules as well as strategies which must be reliant upon the strategic direction of corporate vision and goal
  • Ensures that the feasibility analysis prior project quotation is conducted
  • Ensures the RFQ Process leads to competitive, detailed and timely quotation
  • Reviews and approves manufacturing cost
  • Proactive management of the NPI program to ensure timing and objectives are met for all customer milestones in terms of quality, delivery, service and cost
  • Overseeing NPI and coordinating the start-up phase of new production
  • Leading the program team comprising of production, quality, engineering, material personnel
  • Making sure that efficiency, ramp up and scrap are aligned with the quote
  • Ensures that proper equipment and investment are planned and efficiently managed to meet the business goals (make suggestion about cost optimization)
  • Ensure the productivity plan and capacity plan
  • Build effective relationship with the clients so as to maintain/grow good revenue for the organization
  • Perform review of equipment and system layouts and its validation
  • Leads the team to ensure to respect the delivery on time and quality requested by the customer with the appropriate level
  • Always adjusts the level of cost to ensure good profitability
  • Maintains the overall efficiency according to the target
  • Follows up and controls operations performance, analyze regular KPI`s reports and require improvement actions
  • Ensures the respect of the standards in the team
  • Ensures that the teams work together to meet the expected level of quality required by the customer

Qualifications:

  • Electrical or Electronics Engineering graduate preferably with MBA
  • with at least 10 years experience as Head of operations of OSATs or IDM of Power Devices
  • Knows the principles involved in hardware, software and mechanical design
  • Familiar with die technology in Si, SiC and GaN, power discrete and module design and manufacturing
  • Knowledgeable in electronic product manufacturing processes
  • Knows the latest trends and development in the electronics industry
  • Familiar with the quality and compliance standards for designing for automotive, industrial and mechanical applications.
  • Familiar with industry standards, JEDEC , AECQ-101, AQG 324, Mil-Std, ISO26262 and similar.
