Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Support the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Manage and reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare supporting documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., FP&A, O2C, and P2P) to ensure seamless data flow and reporting accuracy.
  • Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance accounting efficiency.
  • Assist with audit support, internal controls (SOX), and compliance-related deliverables.
  • Prepare and review key financial reports for management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 1–3 years of accounting experience with demonstrated ownership in P2P and/or R2R processes.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, month-end close procedures, and account reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA or CA designation (or working toward certification).
  • Experience leading month-end close activities or mentoring junior staff.
  • Familiarity with SOX controls, audit preparation, and internal reporting deliverables.
  • Proven track record of identifying and implementing process improvements and automation solutions.
  • Understanding of adjacent finance functions (P2P, O2C, FP&A) and how they integrate with R2R.
