The Record to Report (R2R) Associate is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting activities. This role focuses on managing fixed assets, performing general ledger accounting, and executing bank reconciliations in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Fixed Assets Management

  • Maintain and update the fixed asset register, ensuring accuracy and compliance with capitalization policies.
  • Record asset acquisitions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation in the accounting system.
  • Conduct periodic asset verification and reconciliation between the fixed asset register and the general ledger.

General Ledger (GL) Accounting

  • Prepare and post journal entries for month-end closing activities.
  • Ensure proper classification of accounts and accurate GL balances.
  • Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and variance analyses.
  • Support financial audits by providing required schedules and supporting documentation.
  • Bank Reconciliation
  • Perform daily, weekly, or monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts.
  • Investigate and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with Treasury and other finance teams to ensure accurate cash reporting.

Other Responsibilities

  • Support process improvements and automation initiatives within the R2R function.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and external audit requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and FP&A.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
  • 1–3 years of experience in Record to Report or General Accounting roles.
  • Experience working in a shared service or BPO
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP).
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of automation tools is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Amenable to Deployment: Must be willing to work within the JG Summit Holdings, Inc. Shared
