Job Description:
The Offshore Talent Acquisition Consultant (Pioneer Team Lead) will oversee the offshore recruitment team delivering on all Nexon roles, ensuring quality, alignment, and consistency in hiring outcomes. This is a strategic and hands-on role focused on quality assurance, recruiter calibration, candidate vetting, and ongoing team member management to support sustained performance excellence.
This position acts as the key point of contact for Nexon's offshore recruitment delivery and will be responsible for maintaining high standards in candidate quality, stakeholder experience, and hiring efficiency. Beyond recruitment oversight, the Pioneer Team Leader will work hand-in-hand with onshore managers to monitor team member performance, provide coaching, and ensure continuous development throughout the employment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Oversight & Quality Assurance
- Review and validate all candidate submissions from the offshore team before presentation to Nexon hiring managers
- Conduct final-stage screening to assess technical capability, cultural alignment, and role suitability
- Ensure consistency in recruitment delivery standards and alignment with Nexon's values and EVP
- Identify quality issues early and implement corrective actions in collaboration with recruiters
Ongoing Team Member Management & Performance Support
- Partner with onshore managers to monitor placed team members' performance and integration
- Conduct regular check-ins with team members during onboarding and beyond to ensure successful placement outcomes
- Provide coaching and development support to team members in collaboration with their direct managers
- Address performance concerns proactively and facilitate improvement plans when needed
- Track retention metrics and identify opportunities to enhance team member satisfaction and engagement
Calibration & Performance Alignment
- Lead regular recruiter calibration sessions to ensure shared understanding of hiring requirements, quality benchmarks, and manager expectations
- Maintain and evolve role-specific evaluation templates, scorecards, and feedback loops
- Support the continuous development of recruiter capability through feedback, documentation, and coaching
Strategic Sourcing & Head Hunting
- Assist with direct sourcing for difficult-to-fill or high-impact technical roles
- Engage in proactive talent pipelining and headhunting where needed
- Recommend sourcing strategies based on role complexity and available talent pools
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Act as the primary offshore interface for Nexon's Talent Acquisition, People Experience team, and hiring managers
- Participate in weekly recruitment alignment calls and provide status updates, candidate pipeline insights, and escalation support
- Facilitate ongoing communication between offshore team members and onshore management to ensure alignment and support
- Ensure a smooth candidate journey and hiring manager experience through consistent communication and follow-through
Process Improvement & Reporting
- Identify process gaps or inefficiencies across the recruitment lifecycle and propose solutions to enhance quality, speed, and scalability
- Track and report on recruitment metrics (e.g., submission-to-interview ratio, offer acceptance, candidate feedback)
- Monitor post-placement performance metrics and retention rates to assess recruitment quality and long-term success
- Maintain documentation to support transparency and continuous improvement
Team Support & Capability Building
- Coach, train, and guide local recruiters on Nexon-specific requirements, tools, systems, and recruitment practices
- Act as escalation point for complex recruitment scenarios, misalignment, or unclear hiring briefs
- Provide ongoing mentorship and professional development opportunities for both recruiters and placed team members
Compliance, Brand, and Candidate Experience
- Ensure recruitment processes adhere to Nexon's policies and applicable employment regulations in offshore markets
- Uphold Nexon's employer brand and EVP throughout candidate engagement activities
- Monitor and maintain a high standard of candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey
- Ensure team member relations practices align with Nexon's values and legal requirements
Qualification and requirements:
- Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment, preferably in a lead or senior talent acquisition role supporting offshore or remote delivery teams.
- Strong background in quality assurance, recruiter coaching, and candidate vetting, with a focus on technical and cultural fit.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor recruitment teams, ensuring performance consistency, process alignment, and ongoing skill development.
- Solid understanding of recruitment metrics, analytics, and continuous improvement practices to drive data-informed decisions.
- Experience conducting final-stage screening and calibration sessions to ensure high-quality candidate submissions and alignment with stakeholder expectations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across onshore and offshore environments.
- Proven capability to design and implement sourcing strategies for complex or hard-to-fill technical roles.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on recruitment execution to meet business hiring objectives.
- Familiarity with recruitment technologies, ATS platforms, and candidate evaluation tools.
- Deep commitment to upholding employer brand standards, candidate experience, and compliance requirements across all recruitment activities.
