Provides support by managing schedules, handling correspondence, performing data entry, maintaining files, and assisting with budget and invoice management for a business or organization. Key responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling appointments, preparing reports, and ensuring smooth office operations by coordinating with departments and managing supplies. This role requires excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills, as well as the ability to handle varied administrative tasks independently.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent is typically the minimum, though an associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is often preferred.
- Proven experience in an administrative or secretarial role is common. Some senior roles may require several years of experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other office equipment is required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
