Senior Bookkeper

Location: Remote / Philippines-based Talent only

Industry: Accounting Firm

Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Client Services

Find opportunities to improve the client experience, including:

  • Provide proactive service and ongoing accounting advice to all clients;
  • Identify and provide value added services to clients;
  • Identify opportunities to introduce clients to Wealth Advisory and Lending Advisory

2. Accounting Activities

Provide tailored Business Advisory to a range of business clients, including:

  • Provision of general compliance, accounting and tax return preparation for all types of taxpayers;
  • Ensuring all processes are followed (e.g. XPM);
  • Continually searching for improvements through business process reengineering throughout the workflow process.

3. Time Management

  • Assist Graduates and Bookkeepers to manage their workflow;
  • Work within weekly and monthly productivity targets;
  • Manage your time sheet and reconcile with time and cost allocated;
  • Work with BA Leaders to manage your WIP.

4. Team and Self Development

  • Act as a Buddy/Mentor to assist with the development of assigned team members;
  • Continually strive to improve and develop within an ever-changing environment;
  • Keep up to date with industry changes and developments;
  • Attend training sessions and meetings;
  • Engage in professional and career development conversations with management.
