Job Description

  • Conduct regular and detailed quality assurance reviews of transaction monitoring alerts and investigations to ensure strict adherence to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, identifying non-compliance or areas for improvement.
  • Provide structured coaching and constructive feedback to the Transaction Monitoring team to enhance the accuracy, timeliness, and overall quality of alert disposition and case escalation.
  • Identify operational and procedural gaps in transaction monitoring workflows, perform root cause analysis, and recommend process enhancements to support compliance effectiveness and risk mitigation.
  • Compile and deliver comprehensive QA reports and dashboards, including key metrics, quality trends, and actionable insights, to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Design, implement, and facilitate training programs tailored to Transaction Monitoring processes and typologies, ensuring team members are equipped with current AML knowledge, red flag indicators, and QA expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in AML, with a focus on Transaction Monitoring or Quality Assurance in financial crime operations.
  • Preferably with experience conducting QA reviews, audits, or assessments specific to financial institutions or AML programs.
  • Strong knowledge of AML laws and regulatory frameworks, especially those related to suspicious transaction monitoring and reporting.
  • Excellent command of English with strong written and verbal communication skills for delivering clear and actionable feedback.
  • High attention to detail and robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Ortigas, Mandaluyong City.
