Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee a designated kitchen section (e.g., grill, hot kitchen, cold kitchen, or tapas station)
- Prepare, cook, and present Spanish dishes according to restaurant standards and recipes
- Ensure consistency, quality, and authentic presentation of Spanish cuisine
- Supervise and support commis chefs and kitchen assistants within the assigned section
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, sanitation, and safety at all times
- Monitor stock levels, minimize waste, and assist with inventory control
- Coordinate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Ensure timely preparation and service during busy service periods
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Commis Chef
- Knowledge of Spanish cuisine, techniques, and ingredients preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Commitment to cleanliness, food safety, and quality standards
- Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills
