Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee a designated kitchen section (e.g., grill, hot kitchen, cold kitchen, or tapas station)
  • Prepare, cook, and present Spanish dishes according to restaurant standards and recipes
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and authentic presentation of Spanish cuisine
  • Supervise and support commis chefs and kitchen assistants within the assigned section
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene, sanitation, and safety at all times
  • Monitor stock levels, minimize waste, and assist with inventory control
  • Coordinate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Ensure timely preparation and service during busy service periods

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Commis Chef
  • Knowledge of Spanish cuisine, techniques, and ingredients preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Commitment to cleanliness, food safety, and quality standards
  • Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills
