Job Description:

  • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes
  • Prepare and review financial statements ensuring timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws, government regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and facilitate the audit process.
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff while delegating tasks to ensure adherence to deadlines and objectives.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies, systems, and controls to improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships
  • Oversee tax computations, filing, and payments ensuring compliance with tax legislation. Provide data-driven recommendations to support business decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license is preferred.
  • At least 5–7 years of progressive experience in accounting with 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Experience in the glass industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of accounting processes and software
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets are a must.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent time-management skills
