We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage the financial operations of our company. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, with experience in the construction industry considered a significant advantage. The role requires proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control, particularly in tracking project-based expenses and revenues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update accurate general ledger records
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Monitor project costs, billings, and collections
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable
  • Assist in payroll preparation and compliance with tax regulations
  • Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Ensure timely filing of BIR and government-mandated reports
  • Coordinate with project engineers, procurement, and admin to validate cost allocations
  • Conduct internal audits and assist with external audits
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field
  • CPA license is an advantage, but not required
  • At least 2 years of experience in accounting; construction industry background is a strong advantage
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel
  • Knowledge of taxation, financial regulations, and project cost accounting
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
