JOB SUMMARY
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of multiple store branches for retail, food and beverages and other future business ventures of the company. This role ensures operational excellence, profitability, and compliance with company standards and government regulations. The Operations Manager will lead and mentor store teams, improve processes, and collaborate closely with the President/Owners to drive growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and uphold the company's brand standards across all business units. The position will also play significant role for marketing strategies and brand management.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Multi-Store Operations Management & Business Planning
- Strategically manage all the store businesses of the company to ensure consistent service quality, operational efficiency, and profitability.
- Develop and execute operational strategies that drive sales growth and new business opportunities.
- Manage product branding and marketing including but not limited to events, promotions, market analysis, local store management and others.
- Adviser in setting and achieving key performance targets for each business unit.
2. Budget & Financial Oversight
- Spearhead the operational budgeting and forecasting.
- Monitor financial performance, control costs, and ensure all stores meet profitability goals.
3. Team Leadership & Staff Development
- Oversee manpower requirement and skills development of team from ranks to junior leadership level.
4. Process Improvement & Efficiency
- Streamline workflows and operational systems to improve productivity and service turnaround time.
- Identify and resolve process gaps to support continuous improvement initiatives.
5. Inventory & Supply Chain Management
- Oversee stock management and inventory control systems to minimize losses and waste.
- Plan process for efficient supply chain movement and product deliveries.
6. Compliance & Safety Management
- Ensure all stores comply with company policies, labor laws, health and safety regulations, and food safety standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain operational integrity.
7. Reporting & Performance Analysis
- Analyze sales, operations, and financial data to guide decision-making.
- Submit periodic performance reports and recommendations to the President/Owners.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience:
- At least 5–10 years of progressive managerial experience in retail operations, preferably within fashion, food & beverage, or luxury brand sectors.
- Experience managing multiple branches or business units is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in budgeting, cost control, and financial performance monitoring.
- In-depth knowledge of retail operations, customer service standards, and local regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and POS systems.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
