About the Role

An Australian IT company is looking for a Remote Sales Administrator to join its growing team. This is a full-time, non-technical role best suited for someone who understands the flow of a sales process—from customer inquiry, supplier coordination, quote preparation, to order processing and invoicing.

You'll play a critical role in supporting our sales operations and ensuring clients receive accurate, timely service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate quotes by sourcing products/services from suppliers based on customer requirements

  • Send quotes to customers and follow up on outstanding proposals

  • Process purchase orders (POs) and coordinate orders with suppliers

  • Prepare and issue invoices accurately and on time

  • Provide updates to customers on quote status, orders, and deliveries

  • Maintain internal systems (quoting tools, Excel, Xero, etc.)

  • Perform basic sales and admin reporting, including audits and follow-ups on backorders

  • Document and update procedures when necessary

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in sales administration, sales coordination, or order processing

  • Familiarity with the full sales cycle: customer request → supplier quote → client quote → PO → order processing → invoicing

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook, and ideally familiar with Xero or similar tools

  • General IT background preferred, but not required – this is not a technical role

  • Based in the Philippines and able to work remotely full-time
