
Claims Staff

Claims Staff is responsible for the efficient processing, evaluation, and settlement of insurance claims in accordance with company policies, service standards, and regulatory requirements. Ensures fair and timely claims handling to maintain client satisfaction and protect company interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, record, and acknowledge policyholders' claims (motor, property, casualty, and other non-life lines).
- Verify coverage by reviewing policy terms, conditions, and exclusions.
- Gather and validate supporting documents such as police reports, photos, adjuster assessments, and repair estimates.
- Coordinate with adjusters, investigators, and accredited service providers for inspection and evaluation.
- Compute claims benefits or recommended settlement amounts based on policy provisions and company guidelines.
- Prepare and endorse claims documents for approval and payment processing.
- Monitor the progress of claims and provide timely updates to policyholders and intermediaries (agents, brokers).
- Maintain accurate and organized claims records in the system.
- Assist in detecting potential fraud and escalate suspicious claims.
- Ensure compliance with Insurance Commission rules and internal service level agreements.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries and explaining claims procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Preferably with experience in claims handling (motor, property, or casualty)
