Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Warehouse Leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse facility within a high-volume plastic injection molding manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient inventory management, material flow, shipping, receiving, and overall warehouse organization in alignment with production demands and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise warehouse staff, including forklift operators, material handlers, and shipping/receiving personnel.
  • Coordinate and monitor the flow of materials, components, and finished goods within the facility.
  • Ensure timely and accurate receiving, storing, picking, staging, and shipping of materials and products.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to meet daily production and shipping schedules.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Implement and enforce proper labeling, handling, and storage procedures for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
  • Oversee the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization, and adherence to 5S, lean, and safety practices.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse employees to promote skill development and team performance.
  • Utilize ERP/WMS systems to manage inventory transactions and generate required reports.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the warehouse workflow.

ualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical training preferred.
  • 3+ years of warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment; plastic injection molding experience strongly preferred.
  • 1+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (valid forklift certification preferred).
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, material flow, and production scheduling.
  • Knowledge of inventory control principles, lean warehousing, and safety standards (OSHA).

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
  • Working in a manufacturing warehouse environment with exposure to machinery and noise.
