Role Overview

An Australian and New Zealand food supplier entering a rapid growth phase is seeking a highly motivated Digital Marketing Specialist with AI-UGC expertise to execute its UGC Playbook and build a brand presence from the ground up. Reporting directly to the General Manager and CEO, this role requires a self-managed professional who can independently produce, test, and optimize high-volume AI-generated creative assets across TikTok, Instagram, and Meta Ads.

We are looking for a trendy, high-energy Gen Z or Millennial Digital Marketing Specialist who is passionate about creating content that drives engagement and sales. The ideal candidate is AI-motivated, skilled at producing short-form videos using AI tools, and eager to execute bold creative strategies that make a brand stand out.

In this role, you'll be responsible for creating and editing videos, designing graphics, running branded hashtag campaigns, and building digital sales catalogs.

Major Objectives
  1. Within the first 30 days, fully onboard into the UGC Playbook, setting up accounts, assets, and reporting systems. By week 4, consistently produce 30–50 creative variations per week across content buckets, demonstrating reliability and creative diversity.
  2. Within 90 days, optimize UGC content execution by identifying high-performing AI-generated hooks, testing automated ad variations, and analyzing consumer engagement trends. Success will be measured by measurable lifts in thumb-stop rates, CTR, and wholesale lead generation.
  3. By the end of the first 6–12 months, establish the company as a recognizable digital brand by scaling creative output, leveraging influencer/UGC collaborations, and driving measurable increases in retail sell-through and B2B distributor leads.
Responsibilities
  • Create, edit, and publish short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram, and Meta Ads, leveraging AI tools for ideation and execution.
  • Design branded graphics, digital sales catalogs, and campaign assets aligned with product launches and marketing pushes.
  • Launch and manage branded hashtag campaigns to drive awareness and engagement.
  • Execute weekly UGC content buckets (scroll-stoppers, B2B stories, menu hacks, AI-UGC), ensuring creative variety and alignment with brand voice.
  • Conduct QA and compliance checks on all content to ensure accuracy, brand safety, and adherence to product claims.
  • Track campaign performance (CTR, thumb-stop rates, CPL, ROAS, store locator clicks) and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Implement automation workflows to scale creative production speed (e.g., competitor-to-script pipelines, AI hook generation).
  • Continuously test and adopt AI-driven tools to improve creative quality, volume, and compliance monitoring.

Continuously evaluate and integrate AI to improve performance: within the first 90–180 days, identify and deploy AI-driven tools (e.g., , HeyGen, hook generators, compliance checkers) for script generation, ad remixing, and brand monitoring. Lead pilot implementations and embed AI adoption into the creative process for sustained performance improvements.

Requirements
Core Experience & Background
  • 2–4 years of hands-on digital marketing experience with UGC-style content creation, especially for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Meta Ads platforms.
  • Proven experience producing high-volume short-form creative assets (30–50 variations per week) across diverse formats (e.g., hooks, scroll-stoppers, carousels).
  • Demonstrated track record managing AI-based creative tools (e.g., , ChatGPT, hook generators, automated script remixers).
  • Familiarity with performance marketing metrics such as thumb-stop rate, CTR, CPL, ROAS, and store locator clicks.
  • Prior experience working remotely in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment.
  • Knowledge of food & beverage industry marketing is a strong plus, especially within B2B2C or wholesale/retail crossover markets.
Technical & Creative Skills
  • Expertise in UGC content planning, testing, and optimization using playbooks and automation tools.
