Position Summary

The Operations Analyst is responsible for planning and coordinating operational functions within the organization. These functions may include but are not limited to developing and sending investor voting packages, creating client communication, and reviewing and analyzing advanced financial reports and models. In addition, this role will look for ways to increase organizational productivity and lower costs related to the exit process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of departmental and organizational operations through the establishment of effective research methods and strategies.
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of our asset portfolio and systems.
  • Use discretion to compile and analyze data from multiple sources, creating and maintaining ad hoc or custom reports.
  • Create and send out voting packages related to the Exit process to investors.
  • Accountable for producing professional and technical communication to high-level clientele.
  • Generate reports and provide data/information for partners, investors and advisors.
  • Independently oversee the process for tracking project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
  • Complete comprehensive project plans from start to finish with little to no guidance.
  • Analyze and maintain data flow using company systems, software, and internal analytical tools.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain communication and collaboration with Investor Relations and Marketing teams, related to investor communication materials and internal training materials to ensure consistency in messaging.
  • Communicate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders on a global level in order to foster cooperation and understanding of critical processes and best practices.
  • Assess and provide feedback related to the efficiency of support services such as Sales, IT, HR, Accounting and Finance.
  • Facilitate coordination and communication between support functions where appropriate.
  • Participate in meetings and workgroups to acquire and maintain necessary levels of knowledge relating to business developments, industry requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines; collaborate on projects and communicate issues.
  • Notify management of obstacles or operating problems requiring the need for additional support and/or supplies; making recommendations where needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Flexible to work outside of normal business hours when necessary.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or other related field
  • 1 to 2 years' experience with and understanding of the investment and/or real estate industry; additional years of experience is a plus
  • Advanced time management and analytical skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills, follow-through, and discretion
  • Capacity to handle changing priorities and short-notice projects and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Ability to analyze information and draw conclusions
  • Create diagrams, drawings, and charts to explain information and data
  • An understanding of financial and budgeting models, processes and principles
  • Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
