Job description:

Responsibilities

  • Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
  • Ensure pricing is accurate
  • Collect payments whether in cash or credit
  • Issue receipts and change
  • Resolve any customer billing complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
  • Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
  • Assists administrative offices with printing of invoices, record-keeping, and compiling information
  • Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales
  • Record transaction / orders in Point of Sales systems at the time of order.
  • Perform shift closing on the Point of sales terminal and tally cash and credit card settlements.
  • Perform customer service by answering calls and assisting walk-in clients
  • Assist riders on dispatching orders
  • Must be able to perform necessary tasks which may be assigned from immediate supervisors

Requirements

  • Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales
  • Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS
  • Good math skills
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Customer satisfaction-oriented
  • Basic PC and MS Office knowledge
