  • Key Responsibilities Compensation and Payroll
  • Prepare, compute, and validate monthly payroll (regular, contractual, and project-based employees)

Benefits Administration

  • Administer company benefits such as health insurance, bonuses, allowances, and leave conversions
  • Facilitate employee enrollment and claims processing with government agencies and insurance providers
  • Track and monitor utilization of benefits and suggest improvements based on trends

Statutory Compliance and Reports

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports related to payroll, government contributions, and taxes
  • File reports and remittances to SSS, PAG-IBIG, PhilHealth, and BIR on time
  • Ensure full compliance with labor laws and tax regulations

Accounting and Audit Support

  • Assist in audit preparation and respond to payroll-related audit findings
  • Prepare journal entries and payroll reconciliation reports
  • Support financial reporting related to employee costs

Employee Support and Documentation

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding salaries, deductions, and benefits
  • Maintain 201 files and ensure all compensation and benefits documents are complete and up to date
  • Support onboarding/offboarding in terms of compensation and final pay

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, HR Management, or related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or related certification is a plus
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in compensation and benefits, payroll, or accounting
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, tax regulations, and government-mandated benefits
  • Proficient in payroll systems (e.g., Sprout, QuickBooks, Excel, etc.)
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and maintains a high level of integrity
  • Excellent communication and time management skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with HRIS and automated payroll systems
  • Knowledge of financial statements and cost accounting
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Ensure accurate application of statutory deductions (SSS, PAG-IBIG, PhilHealth, BIR, etc.)
  • Monitor attendance, overtime, and leaves in coordination with HR and operations
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and coordinate with Finance for salary release
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll data
