About the role

As an Accounting Officer at ACT Machineries and Metalcraft Corp', you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity and reporting accuracy of the organization. This full-time position is based in Cauayan City, Isabela, and you will be responsible for a range of accounting and reporting tasks that support the overall financial management of the business.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and processing financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries

  • Reconciling bank statements, credit card accounts, and other financial records to ensure accuracy

  • Generating financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

  • Assisting with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial analyses

  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies

  • Providing support to the finance team and collaborating on special projects as needed

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in the manufacturing or metalwork industry

  • Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently
