Responsibilities

  • Lead all maintenance and repair-related activities in the company, keeping in mind the roles of a repair manager
  • Document and submit reports to the senior maintenance manager (if any) or the stakeholders, regarding budgets, progress and time schedules
  • Supervise the condition of all the equipment in the establishment and the potential upgrades and maintenance it might need as a preventive maintenance plan
  • Manage the budgets of the maintenance plans, and ensure that everything is in line with legal and safety regulations
  • Recognize areas of improvement in the facilities maintenance jobs in hand and their processes
  • Repair and maintenance for exhaust and fresh air units
  • Repair and maintenance of kitchen equipments

Required skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a similar discipline
  • Prior experience working as a maintenance manager, repair manager, or in a related role
  • Experience in dealing with budgets, schedules and reporting in terms of maintenance work
  • Understanding of legal safety regulations specific to India, within the industry
  • Knowledge of equipment and facilities machines
  • Preferably with experience in food store

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in facilities management
  • Previous experience in food industry
  • Knowledgeable in AutoCAD software or tools
  • Demonstrated experience working in a management role
