JOB SUMMARY

The Kitchen Steward is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall hygiene of the kitchen, dining utensils, and equipment. The role supports the kitchen team by ensuring proper dishwashing, waste management, and adherence to health and safety standards, enabling smooth restaurant operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sanitation & Cleaning

  • Wash and sanitize kitchen tools, cooking equipment, plates, utensils, and glassware according to standards.
  • Clean kitchen surfaces, floors, storage areas, and trash bins to maintain hygienic conditions.
  • Follow proper chemical handling and cleaning procedures.

Support for Kitchen Operations

  • Assist in receiving and storing deliveries in designated areas.
  • Organize storage areas, ensuring equipment and tools are properly placed and accessible.
  • Dispose of waste properly and implement recycling and waste reduction practices.
  • Assist cooks and pizza makers by providing clean tools, trays, and equipment when needed.

Food Safety & Compliance

  • Strictly follow company sanitation policies and DOH/DA regulations.
  • Conduct routine checks to ensure dishwashing area and kitchen remain hazard-free.
  • Support pest control measures and report any issues to the manager.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From Php695.00 per day
