We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Chief Mechanic to oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of our company's fleet of delivery vehicles. The ideal candidate will have solid experience handling 10-wheeler wing vans, 6-wheeler ELF and Forward trucks, and 4-wheeled delivery vehicles, ensuring operational reliability, safety, and efficiency of our logistics operations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise the daily operations of the maintenance team.
  • Diagnose and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on trucks and other vehicles.
  • Conduct regular inspections and safety checks to identify mechanical issues.
  • Oversee repair schedules, service logs, and ensure compliance with fleet maintenance protocols.
  • Handle mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and brake system troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate with dispatch and operations teams to minimize vehicle downtime.
  • Source and evaluate parts and repair services when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment.
  • Train mechanics and implement best practices in vehicle care and safety.

Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in truck maintenance and repair.

  • Proven expertise in maintaining:

  • 10-wheeler wing vans

  • 6-wheeler ELF and Forward trucks
  • 4-wheeled delivery vehicles
  • TESDA Certification or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
  • Leadership experience or prior supervisory role preferred.
  • Knowledgeable in preventive maintenance systems and inventory of spare parts.
  • Willing to be assigned on-site and handle multiple units as needed.
