Job Title: Senior Finance Analyst

Employment Type: Full-time

Location: Remote

Working hours: 9AM to 6PM PST (Pacific Standard Time)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Modeling Analyst to support strategic decision-making through the development of complex financial models and effective cash management strategies. This role plays a key part in forecasting, business planning, investment evaluation, liquidity monitoring, and scenario analysis. The ideal candidate is proficient in Excel, comfortable handling large data sets, and capable of translating financial insights into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain dynamic financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and valuation purposes.
  • Analyze key financial metrics and trends, providing insights and recommendations to management.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts (daily, weekly, monthly) and track actual performance against projections.
  • Assist in managing liquidity and working capital, identifying risks and opportunities in cash planning.
  • Partner with accounting to reconcile cash balances and monitor short-term funding requirements.
  • Contribute to month-end close processes and variance analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of board materials, investor reports, and executive dashboards.
  • Support cross-functional teams with ad hoc analysis and financial planning tools.

Requirements:

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. CFA, CPA, or MBA is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, financial modeling, or cash management.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency in financial modeling best practices.
  • Understanding of cash management principles, working capital optimization, and liquidity analysis.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, forecasting techniques, and liquidity management.
  • Familiarity with Quickbooks or financial modeling software is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data in a clear, concise manner.
