As our inaugural Manila-based team member, you'll help form our financial systems and contribute to our expansion.

We're looking for a Finance Analyst to become our first hire in the Philippines, operating remotely to assist a range of Australian SMEs. This position provides an excellent platform to address intricate financial issues, acquire global knowledge, and advance alongside the organization. You'll contribute to creating forward-thinking procedures, interact closely with Australian clients, and utilize your analytical abilities to offer key insights that influence company achievements.

• Carry out bookkeeping tasks, reconcile bank statements, and complete month-end journal entries for Australian SMEs, spotting patterns and areas for enhancement.
• Handle payroll accurately, guaranteeing adherence to Australian tax rules, superannuation requirements, and legal duties while examining differences.
• Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and the creation of BAS (Business Activity Statements), while getting familiar with financial simulations to improve client liquidity and regulatory compliance.
• Develop expandable finance procedures, using tools to resolve intricate workflow problems and boost productivity for various clients.
• Work alongside Australian companies, offering expert, client-oriented assistance and practical recommendations to guide choices.

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or payroll, showcasing strong technical proficiency in relevant fields.
• CPA qualified or pursuing qualification as a CPA.
• Enthusiasm for learning Xero and Australian finance practices (no previous knowledge of Australian standards or Xero necessary).
• Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets, open to developing skills in budgeting projections, discrepancy reviews, and evidence-based decision-making.
• Outstanding interpersonal abilities, at ease in a small group setting, connecting with Australian partners, and explaining detailed information effectively.
• A forward-thinking perspective with enthusiasm for overcoming hurdles and producing meaningful results.
• Capacity to excel in a dynamic startup setting, proactively refining methods and capitalizing on key prospects.
