JOB DESCRIPTIONThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Finance Associate, located in Makati, Metro Manila. The Finance Associate will be responsible for managing financial statements, utilizing accounting software, performing bookkeeping tasks, and assisting with finance-related activities. The role involves ensuring accuracy in financial records, preparing reports, and supporting the finance team with various finance and accounting tasks daily.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Utilize computerized accounting software programs (Quickbooks, Excel, Word) to perform duties and responsibilities
Organize and maintain up to date financial records including retention files for a required period
Provide monthly financial and management reports
Prepare bills and invoices for services rendered
Record and prepare payments to suppliers
Prepare bi-monthly cash flow analysis, including bank reconciliations
Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted. Investigate any discrepancies by checking bills, invoices, sales receipts and bank deposit records
Ensure compliance with BIR and SEC regulatory reporting and filing
Support project companies' accounting requirements, preparation of financial statements, renewal of business permits, and consolidation tasks
Assist in annual external audit
Other tasks that may be assigned from time to timeQUALIFICATIONS:Able to comfortably work with numbers, including the use of Excel spreadsheet; basic knowledge and experience with Quickbooks is a plus
Has keen attention to detail and well-developed organizational skills
Can communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
Knowledgeable about BIR and SEC compliance requirements
Graduate of BS Accountancy/Financial ManagementPosition is open to fresh graduates; applicants with 2 or more years of experience are also welcome to apply
